Why wait until next month’s Giving Tuesday to kick off our annual appeal for donations to our 501c3 nonprofit? As you know, the Cape Cod Center for Sustainability is a registered US nonprofit and we’re headquartered in Provincetown, MA. We’re rebuilding post-COVID around the Bank of Nature program and we could use your financial support — as we move toward critical mass. We’re gaining considerable traction that makes 2025 most exciting.
With that mind, we are asking for your donation and we’ve launched a fundraising auction accepting bids until Dec 9.
We issue tax receipts for donations over $250. In terms of the work:
We’re engaged in a legal strategy to create a new way to pay for global climate security.
We’re writing new legislation for the 2025 bill season that will support the legal strategy.
We’re networking international experts and collaborators to ensure the work we do here in New England can be cloned everywhere.
The goal is to introduce a new way for society to pay for climate security that uses the overlook tools and resources already in hand.
An alternative to a donation is to participate in our annual auction provided by our sponsor Arcadia, a retailer here in town.
This year, the key words are #provincetown, #upcycled, #decommissionedfirehose, #Engine193 and #musthavebag. Oh, and #freeshipping for US-based winning bids. One of Arcadia’s most popular new products is a canvas bag made from up cycled firehouse sourced from our local Provincetown Firehall. “193” is the engine number of the Ptown firetruck. Two styles of bag are ready to take bids. Retail value is $250 each.
As always, I’m available to explain the work and outline our business plans to prospective donors.
Thank you.
